Mexico Beach, Florida gets a good swell on occasion. For the rest of the time, a stand-up paddleboard works nicely. The paddle around Crooked Island or over to Cape San Blas looks tempting. Steve Combs had a few interesting conversations with the fishermen during his paddle down the coast this weekend.

Destin Florida Trip Day 2
For Day 2 in Destin, Steve Combs, Mike Sturdivant, and John Cross tested out each of the YOLO stand-up paddleboards–the 12′ YOLO Original, the 12′ YOLOyak, and the 9’6″ YOLO Express. We even had one wave with all three boards on the same wave.
Destin Florida Trip
Paddle Anywhere is headed to Destin, Florida to try out a new stand up paddleboard. Steve Combs and John Cross traded off on SMS’ new 12′ YOLO Original and a 10′ longboard. The waves were small but fun.

Another Day at Stone Mountain
We had such a good time yesterday at Stone Mountain Park we came back for more. It’s best to park at the covered bridge. After you slide under the covered bridge, you can paddle to an old grist mill and waterfall. You can walk from there to a stone quarry museum. Below are pics from Saturday and Sunday.
